🌲 About the Tree Works Framework Opportunity
Rochdale Council is establishing a Tree Works Framework to support the ongoing maintenance of its tree stock, ensuring trees across the borough are kept safe, healthy and properly managed.
The framework covers a full range of arboricultural services, from routine pruning and felling through to emergency call-outs and specialist stump grinding.
The structure across four separate lots allows providers to bid for the areas that best match their capability, whether that’s full-spectrum arboriculture works or specialist emergency response services.
This framework is designed to give the Council flexibility while providing successful suppliers with ongoing access to tree-related works throughout the contract term.
👷 Who This Is Best Suited For
This opportunity is well suited to:
- Arboricultural contractors and tree surgeons
- SMEs with experience delivering works for local authorities or public bodies
- Providers with capacity to respond to emergency call-outs
- Businesses holding relevant certifications (e.g. NPTC, LANTRA) and strong H&S processes
The separate lots make this particularly attractive for specialist providers, including those focused purely on emergency works or stump grinding services.
